Animal consciousness
According to the , "near human-like levels of consciousness" have been observed in the grey parrot. Animal consciousness, or animal awareness, is the quality or state of self-awareness within a non-human animal, or of being aware of an external object or something within itself. In humans, consciousness has been defined as: sentience, awareness, subjectivity, qualia, the ability to experience or to feel, wakefulness, having a sense of selfhood, and the executive control system of the mind. Despite the difficulty in definition, many philosophers believe there is a broadly shared underlying intuition about what consciousness is.

The mere-exposure effect is a psychological phenomenon by which people tend to develop a preference for things merely because they are familiar with them. In social psychology, this effect is sometimes called the familiarity principle. The effect has been demonstrated with many kinds of things, including words, Chinese characters, paintings, pictures of faces, geometric figures, and sounds. In studies of interpersonal attraction, the more often people see a person, the more pleasing and likeable they find that person.

Wim Wenders
Wim Wenders (* 14. August 1945 als Wilhelm Ernst Wenders in DĂĽsseldorf) ist ein deutscher Regisseur und Fotograf. Zusammen mit anderen Autorenfilmern des Neuen Deutschen Films grĂĽndete er 1971 den Filmverlag der Autoren. Seit 2003 ist er Professor fĂĽr Film an der Hochschule fĂĽr bildende KĂĽnste Hamburg.

Treaty of Lisbon
The Treaty of Lisbon (initially known as the Reform Treaty) is an international agreement that amends the two treaties which form the constitutional basis of the European Union (EU). The Treaty of Lisbon, which was signed by the EU member states on 13 December 2007, entered into force on 1 December 2009. It amends the Maastricht Treaty (1992), known in updated form as the Treaty on European Union (2007) or TEU, as well as the Treaty of Rome (1957), known in updated form as the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (2007) or TFEU. It also amends the attached treaty protocols as well as the Treaty establishing the European Atomic Energy Community (EURATOM).

Tarouf Abdulkhair Adam Muhammad al-Talal Hawsawi, known professionally as Etab, (December 30, 1947 – August 19, 2007) was a Saudi Arabian singer active from the 1960s to the 1990s. Of Hausa descent, she was born in Saudi Arabia, but moved to Egypt soon after her second marriage to an Egyptian man in 1978. Many Arab music historians agree that she was forced out of Saudi Arabia at the orders of then Saudi King Khalid due to her musical concerts considered risqué in Saudi Arabia at that time. In 1983 she became an Egyptian citizen.
